Orders and Delivery

When will my order be delivered?

After placing an order, we strive to deliver your product as soon as possible. For larger items like a spa bath, we will contact you to schedule the delivery at a convenient time.

How can I place an order?

Orders can be placed through our spa advisors, via our webshop, email, or by phone. We encourage you to visit our showroom for personalized advice.

Can I request a discount?

To request a discount, please fill out the discount request form or contact one of our spa advisors.

How is my delivery arranged?

You can choose to have your spa delivered, placed, and installed by Fonteyn. We transport the spa on a trailer and require a one-meter wide passage at your location. Alternatively, you can opt for transport only, where the spa is delivered on a pallet to your doorstep.

Is delivery abroad possible?

Yes, we offer international delivery through our experienced transport partners.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs vary by country. We require the full delivery address and information about on-site equipment (e.g., forklift) to provide an accurate quote.

What payment methods are available?

Payments can be made via bank transfer or in cash upon delivery (Fonteyn delivery service). Please arrange payment details with your advisor in advance.

What type of connection do I need?

The minimum requirements are:

• 1 massage pump: 16 ampere / blue 16 A CE plug

• 2 massage pumps: 20 ampere / blue 32 A CE plug

What types of massages are available in a Fonteyn Houston spa?

Fonteyn Houston spas offer a range of hydrotherapy massage options including rotating, pulsing, vibrating, and power jets. Visit our Houston showroom to test out the different massage experiences in person—our spa advisors are happy to guide you.

Can the spa be placed outdoors?

Yes, all our spas are designed for outdoor use. With full insulation, they perform perfectly year-round, even during colder Texas winters.

Does the spa need to be drained in winter?

If you plan to use your spa throughout the winter, no problem—it’s built for that. If not, we recommend draining both the tub and the plumbing lines to prevent freezing. Our team can also winterize the spa for you—just give us a call to schedule.

Is a cover necessary?

A spa cover is highly recommended. It keeps the heat in, debris out, and helps reduce energy usage. While optional, we strongly suggest adding one to your order.

Is a cover included with the spa?

Covers are not included by default, as we sell globally—including in warm climates where a cover isn’t always needed. In Texas, however, we recommend purchasing a cover for optimal performance.

Does the spa need to sit on a level surface?

Yes. For best results, place your spa on a level, solid foundation. A slight slope of up to ¾ inch over several feet is acceptable, but a level surface is ideal for safety and performance.

Can I install the spa in the ground?

Absolutely. Most of our spas can be partially or fully recessed into the ground. Be sure to leave at least 20 inches of clearance around all sides for service access, and ensure the pit is properly reinforced. Our advisors can assist with detailed installation guidelines.

What is the recommended water temperature?

You can set your spa to any temperature you like, but we recommend around 99.5°F (37.5°C)—similar to body temperature—for the most relaxing experience.

How do I return my order?

How much warranty do I get on my spa?

2 years on electrical and motor components

5 years on the spa shell (excluding components)

10 years on the spa’s frame structure

I received a damaged product—what should I do?

Contact us as soon as possible with a description (and preferably photos) of the damage. If it qualifies under warranty, we’ll arrange a replacement or repair right away. We stand behind our products and service—even after the sale.

Spa Maintenance

How often should I change the water?

We recommend replacing the water every 3 to 4 months. For spas with a salt system, once a year is usually sufficient.

How often should I replace the filter?

Typically 2 to 3 times a year, depending on how often you use the spa. Filters should be rinsed regularly using a garden hose or shower head, following the direction of the pleats. You can also use our Filter Cleaner for a deeper clean.

How do I keep the water clean?

Use chlorine in combination with AquaFinesse for clean and balanced water. Alternatively, you can use a salt system. For full instructions, refer to the spa manual or speak with our team.

Is annual maintenance required?

It’s not required, but always a good idea. All our spas are fully tested before delivery. If you’d like a technician to inspect your spa annually, our service department will be happy to schedule a visit.
